Amazon 'Prime'?

Placing an order, last night. It actually Forced a " Free Trial " on me. No way round it.

Not terribly fussed. Could this be my route away from the snow flake ridden Netflix?

Could anyone offer me any pointers? How best to play the system?

Cheers.

Just get a Firestick and install an IPTV sub, lasts for 12 months and you get the job lot.

? " Firestick " I remember those! Red things with a twist. Used to stick them on the boot and go around blowing everyones doors off, coming in wall to wall!

As for that other thing? Sorry. Try to imagine you're talking to a man who's been in a coma for the last forty years.

Get a Firestick, plug it in to the back of your TV and download a few apps and bingo.

Thanks. But, no tv. I'm actually looking at how to play films from my phone to my screen. My internet is so shrivelled now, no way I'm spending £300+ to replace this one. Not just to read a few forums and order stuff from amazon.

Which sort of brings us back round to what to best do with what I have ?

No tv, King. But, I'm getting solid info elsewhere that the plugs and leads exist to allow me to plug my android phone into the HDMI socket on this screen.

That summarises my aim: No tv. No computer. Still watch films and read here. Got to save money I'd think.

Just trying to get some hands on about this Prime.

Phone's  Huawei 2009(?). Screen's an Acer. Dead cheap and basic. But, I know it has an HDMI socket.

Oh. And I run external little speakers, from somewhere. PC, I think? Hadn't thought of that.

You haven't even got a black box in the house?
