Has anyone ever heard of an English bull terrier cross whippet?

A few around over here in Oz,the ones I've seen look like a heavy set whippet with a bigger head but didn't have the Roman nose.English bull cross greyhounds are popular pig dog types here also English bull/staghounds.English bull terriers are used way more than pits in the hunting dog crosses as they are not as reckless on dangerous game, but still have the balls for it.

They used to be the main cross here for pigs and scrub bulls.I had a one that looked almost pure bull terrier, white with red speckles. They are a good dog to cross with a grey for most game here.

Would it be fair to say that the EBT in Oz are a different prospect as a potential base for producing a lurcher than the dogs that we have in UK and Ireland? Always thought them to be an odd but interesting breed. A failed experiment or successful money spinner by the original breeder? A bit like adding water to whiskey in an attempt to create a superior type of whiskey but became popular and found a purpose in the old colonies more than at home.

I know what you are saying but they are superior as crosses to pits for the pig hunting job.Sometimes there is too much whisky in the glass(not on Friday night imo) lol.
