DIY Rod Pods ?

Recently made two rod pods out of some PVC pipe , since I already dropped $75 the four alarms ,and transmitter I really didn't want to spend another $50+ on a pod so I just cobble these together. Honestly wanted to crank the welder up and use rebar but weight would have be an issure

Anyhow wanted to see if you guys have any home made pods you'd be willing to share

4 bank sticks wouldn't cost much wolf and would of done same job and would of saved all that time making that up how steady is that wolf dog

Tidy job mateI use a korum river tripod for most of my fishing.... If I'm after carp I use a few buzz bars on bank sticks, with snag bars and clamps on the butt end.. Left my tackle in the truck, was surface fishing yesterday evening, when the wife gets back I take some pics

Yeah I was considering that but when temps get in the 90's the red clay alot of these ponds and lakes have on the banks turn to concrete. And it's pretty stable. Going to be rock solid when I remember to get some PVC cement and lock most of it in place

Nice ! I actually say a complete pod with all the bells and whistles for $20 but it was made by some schetchy Chinese company so egh decided against it

It is unbelievable what the Yanks build out of plastic pipes. There are Youtube videos showing how to make small pontoon boats out of water pipe. I honestly don't know what so is wrong with a proper boat that you have to contrive something out of U bends, drain pipes and water barrels

Lol never understood why brits never experment and try to make stuff lol. Always just save money and by it lol. Just joking but this guy made somthing a whole floating dock out of storage bins lol
