Hello I have a bitch in season she’s standing for the stud dog I’m using,he’s been in there for 5-10 seconds a time 3 times in the last couple a days but they didn’t tie?(lock) could there be a possibility she could still be pregnant I’m going to try her until and hopefully they tie,but if they do not what’s the possibility il have a litter from the slip matings?

My whippet produced 6 pups with one very brief slip mating just after Christmas. Bitch was happy to stand but wouldn’t allow the tie but all worked out well in the end. Good luck.

No a young dog he was entering and holding to the bitch for up to 20-30 seconds then was slipping wouldn’t tie

Left them together for a little while he was trying but no luck tried them again today and he went in a couple times again we held him on but he still came out after about 20-30 seconds

If you are unsure mate hold them for longer some dogs don’t tie but helps to produce if you hold them longer,I know it can be back breaking but needs must when that’s happening regularly.she can still take with what you have said but for me I would be holding them for longer atb.
