Mate, imho, at that age you don’t want to be f***ing about with private let.....it’s not secure enough.

Plus, as an older person, anywhere they takes multiple private DSS let’s round there  won’t be a very nice place to live......he will get torn to bits.

Better to get something nice, clean and secure for life from the council.

As nice as your gesture is, a few hundred quid from various people ain’t the most sensible way forward.

They will assign you a lady for your case and then basically you just keep pestering until they find a sheltered warden controlled place.

Thats how you do it, may take a couple of months but you get there in the end.

I’ll just add, you ain’t having nothing you ain’t entitled to.....your a white old age pensioner who has worked and paid in, why shouldn’t you have a gaff near your kids  

I’ll also add that if push comes to shove, you and your daughter will have to tell a few porkies and she can say she is throwing you out then they will 100% give you somewhere but, as I said, you have to go through the process.

well charity begins at home an I think it’s a bit shocking trying to make an old man feel shit for accepting help off a decent member who has obviously saw somebody in need an maybe in a position to point him in right way. I’m by no means rich or well off but I’ll gladly stick 50/100 quid or sumat into a kitty, im sure if a months rent an a deposit is paid then a lot of private let’s will take his pension/benefits for the rent?? Think that’s how it used to work? I don’t know anybody from down that way to ask to help in finding one but I’m sure somebody does,

Boys remember kieths prob had a fukin gutfull,sometimes filling out forms,all this internet shit can get a man down.hes not thinking positively,who can blame him.i have friend whos husband turned abusive,unvolving knives,she snd 2 kids were put in a safe house 40mile away.shes still thier,2yrs later.so it takes time.when you,ve been brought up straight,its difficult to bend the truth,and to know what to say.only ponces know how to manipulate the system.if gnasher did,nt want to help,im sure he would,nt.not exactly asking him to murder someone is it.?sometimes we need to stick together us lurcher boys,yous all talk about the sootys,them and us,etc,etc.well on here its us,and us so fukin try and help out.

Think it was Thursday night mate I sat at this computer, fek me what a night, Friday morning I was still at it, the questions I was asked, dear me, tried to be as honest as possible, you lie it just back fires on you, so im at least up front with folks, its a totally different world im living in at the moment, im finding it hard to keep myself sane

Saturday morning, was up around 4 ish  made a brew then got my head back down approximately 9 pm, my phone rang, it was Colchester borough homes telling me I had successfully been put on there housing list, and I thanked them, they also congratulated me on successfully filling out the online application form at the first attempt and that quite often people omit or get confused with the questions so there you go, im on there housing list, but band e

and this is why I come on here, for advice and help, ive admitted in a previous post that im a loner but that's the way I roll,  and yes its backfired on me cos in all honesty no one ever comes here  ive also admitted that this virus wont get me, but the loneliness and boredom will.

There's more than a few bright able lads on here that know how the system works so just maybe the best thing to do would be do a bit of inquiring on Keiths behalf with his consent of course, a kind of spokes person if you like that knows the angles, I know another person can only do so much but wouldn't do no harm.

This is how much of a saddo ive become, from one happy go lucky chappy, independent loved life to a certain point, would rather do folks a good turn than a baddun, to the miserable had enough bloke I am today, heres my sad bit, ever since I got in touch with my daughter, this mobile never leaves my hands except when I go bathroom, this morning I used the bathroom, and when I came downstairs, I looked for my moby, my daughter, I panicked looked every where for her, then remembered where id left it,  how sad is that, I will write just how I feel from now on I don't care any more

tomo has just said it’s a mix a folk, can’t imagine private renting being anymore of a mine field than some half way house full a foreigners, junkies, career Doleys. Even if there is a few decent family’s among them, I wouldn’t wish that on my ole man or my granda ffs
