It's civil unrest - a racist organisation is playing on the emotions of a minority and whipping them up.

 

The police need some stronger leadership and need to start doing the job that they're paid to do - arrest the ring leaders of BLM and Antifa for conspiracy and, wade in hard on the protesters  - full riot gear and dogs, kettle them into side streets in manageable numbers and pluck out the trouble makers.

Use the full weight of the law to prosecute anyone getting violent or damaging property  - show them in no uncertain terms that that is not how you behave in a civilised country and let them all know that it will not be tolerated.

No I think he means  that the army would likely be ordered to fight against us as it would be us who would be portrayed to be the instigators, I think that's what he means?

Wilf I've said this on here before and to my eyes it's playing out for all to see.

The reason the youth act like this today is a result of the 2004 ban on smacking.

16yrs after the ban this is the result.

The youth have never been punished for anything wrong they have done in there whole lives.

A good firm smack back in the day kept the youngsters in check. 

Discipline the youngsters so they know right from wrong.

Sadly them days have gone.

And we are seeing the result.

I don’t think we can recock against the rise of political divides. 

personally for me as a person ,( as I have my views that don’t reflect the occupation I do ), I find it incredibly frustrating to view general social media and msm to see the opinions people hold. 

I see boris and trump largely chastised for every move they make , YouTube algorithms aside , o limit my own exposure to here , Twitter and you tube . 

I admit that over lockdown I have gained a sense of isolation in that my own views don’t marry that of my peers , my friends and work colleagues . 

You never seen Blair, Cameron May , or Obama criticised the way the average armchair politician does with trump , bj or to a lesser extent bush . 

I don’t get how the george Floyd incident affects the uk 

Id be loth to lead my men into any deployment as I do not feel we’d be insured against any incidents occurring. The average squaddie can be traced , identified and located on social media in minutes  due to our platforms , uniform etc . 

Much easier than an armed copper. 

it would be like boxing in handcuffs .

I somewhat agree, and disagree with you, if that makes sense.

Yes discipline is gone out the window, which isn't good, neither is to much, can have the opposite effect. 

Also there's not much for the youths to do these days in terms of employment. 

They have no reason to have self respect, respect for their elders, community or country. 

This is where national service should be brought back, 4 years.

Also there's no punishment for their crimes. To soft

I've said it many a time on here. Where the f**k were we when they chopped off Lee Rigby's head, where the f**k were we when they blew little kids up in Manchester while they were watching a concert. 

Just imagine that happening to your own little kid. We should have been all out in force and I mean the lot of us, me, my brother, my dad, your family, everyone's family. 

We did nothing and I feel sick thinking about it, I stupidly think that if I don't get in to bother then my family will be safe. 

The thing is we know firsthand that is not the case, you or me could be walking in a city somewhere with the family and bang, it's all gone in a flash. 

Prevention is always better than the cure and we have done f**k all about it.
