It's the same every where LOL.

Walk down the harbour here and ask any Fisher man how's the fishing and they'll say poor to nothing, not worth it LOL.

Sorry to hear about your mate.

Could he not hire a chater that is equipped for wheel chairs for a days fishing.

It's all commercial fishing I did, pots for crab and lobsters. Ground was at a premium lol. Had to be out early to get the good spots

Shame that,

Even if ye only got s couple of days in the summer, it would be great,  just to wet a line and have the craic.

Go for it mate and if your near an estuary then even better for learning on as you don't have the hassle of waves when learning to handle a little boat as such, but all we do is tow lures behind us and the bass do the rest by grabbing hold of them We've had a few little boats and every one of them got us out to where the bass live and you can chuck them on roof racks or in the back of pick ups.My pal has a bigger boat but we just don't use it as we don't need to sort of thing..

I get sea sick but only when we drop anchor and it don't have to be rough for me to be green around the gills, but Boots do a great travel sickness pill and it's very valium like so it puts a smile on my face as well as stopping me from being sick..
