Not true. Used to live next to a rescue centre and they had just as many abandoned and handed on dogs that were of the very expensive type as anything else. 1 Quote Link to post
Pirate 9000 676
Looks like they are going to be over flowing with dogs in 6months time then. Quote Link to post
terryd 8,363
I don't get the logic. Loads furloughed with jobs uncertain and every where shut with job loses. Also people were locked down so in theory couldn't go to collect any way. Yet they are asking stupid prices and some how selling. Then surely folks are not so stupid as to buy a dog there stuck with for the next 15 years just because they have a few months off. Just amazing Edited May 24, 2020 by terryd Quote Link to post

It was mad mate, french bull dogs, cocker pops, golden retrievers etc etc all kinds of stuff that would have been very expensive to buy, chucked in there when it stopped being a pup and started being a young dog! I think the issue is, the kind of special case who thinks buying a cockerpoo for £1500 probably doesn’t actually have much concept of what keeping a dog means, and they think they will be like a teddy for life. 3 Quote Link to post
