Worked in the dales. So there we have it again. Without getting into an argument with anyone over any cross, type or whatever, most dogs, not all obviously, worked in the dales, will NOT have the spee

Beddy/whippet x collie/whippet/bull/grey

I think it's getting less popular among working people. other crosses are more popular and versatile. some prefer pure whippets or grews for rabbits. if you want a dog for lamping and other stuff you

I get you mate ?.  But if I understand gnipper's question, it was about a beddy x whippet/greyhound, a 1st x beddy in effect. Anyway, very nice dog that mate, and a good size for an alrounder ?

That's what I meant, when people say beddy whippet greyhound it seems to cover everything between 18 and 26 inch rough or smooth.

there is a fellow on YouTube with a few posts. ferreting with my dog Billy. it's three quarter whippet /greyhound and a quarter Bedlington, looks a decent size and a good dog. if I was wanting to lamp and other stuff it's the way I would look to be going.

Lol I always used to think, if my ex brother in law put his dog back to another 1st x whippet/greyhound I would definitely have taken a pup on. His old dog had plenty of good qualities, great nose, cracking coat, good feet, quick, agile and intelligent. But he did have that headstrong, stubborn streak lol. But I think if he'd have been a bit more consistent etc with his early training, he'd have been a far more useful dog ?
