Good on light gear and not bad eating mate...not much different to cod, particulary in a decent beer batter...

It was great to get back on the water last night, caught a few Pollack and took 3 home, a couple of fillets went in a curry delivery 4 fillets to my parents today.

Best one I've had on the kayak..over 10lb...it went back alive, West Coast of Scotland...and on a soft plastic, was hell of a fight on real light gear!

Yeah we're all good thank you mate..   Yes you are right, you should suit the kayak to the size of man ..we had little choice unfortunately for you...lol

What are the kayaks like in a decent swell? And are they unsinkable?

If you were just out for a paddle they would handle a lot of conditions very well, and are unsinkable as long as they arent damaged...

For fishing it wouldnt be much fun in a big sea, launching and landing can be fun in bigger waves (I've lost a bit of tackle and a mobile to mistimed landings!!) Lol
