Those pig stickers are pretty long mate, not so sure a knife most lads like us use would do the job

Aye mate they are long, to go right in through to the heart and lungs, cause max damage and blood loss. Your average 3" lock knife just ain't gonna cut it.

Last year when we got surprised, in the middle of the night. I was stood there with my chopper/cleaver in hand and just remember thinking, "I wish I had a bigger knife/axe/.50cal hand cannon" ?

Gotta love hunting them at night ? will say though d9g and knife hintong is a bit more fun

Must be an Irish thing? My old boss was petrified of em too..... Never seen a 25 stone paddy move so f***ing fast?we had a kid start the one time, old boys wound him up, and he put 1 in his truck inside his lunchbox, the older boys were proper wind up merchants, couldn't believe any of their stories ..... Turns out this one was true?, dropped the poor kid with a nut ?... When he came round and got up.... He hit him again?.. Still let him keep his job mind...... Miss old Mr. O'connor ?

They make my skin crawl .

There is an old wives tale here, if a frog comes into the house, you can't let it leave, it would take the luck of the house.

Manys a frog got the fire, seen done myself.

Soft fuuckers, scared of frogs ffs ?

Only thing that squirms me out, is them giant centipede jobbers ? Wouldn't have one anywhere near me.

They don't bother me, or worms or maggots, we even have lizards here and their fine, it's just frogs. Gives me the shivers

Who fancies finishing the job with this one? Lol

I’ll bet it was shot with a rusty old shotgun or lever action.

Get a catch dog and then in with the knife.

Yeah they don’t seem to do dedicated catch dogs there. Easier to carry a lever action through the bush than a keen bulldog I spose.

f**k all that baying shit, if the dogs game to pitch in you have to get the knife out and get in with it, if I was assaulted while out and about I would expect my dogs to get stuck in without a moments hesitation and I feel the same towards them, even if it went horribly wrong what an epitaph, old boy dies saving dogs from massive hog, be remembered a lot longer than old boy dies in a pool of piss being spoon fed while looking out a window,

Often the test of courage is not to die but to live. ?

I’d be quite happy with bailers or bailer-holders myself. I value drive more than guts in dogs generally.
