The Great White is the scariest looking thing ever known to man, the trouble is an Orca will kill one with ease. They are just so much more intelligent than a shark. As formidable as they are they have no chance. If the Great White could get a chomp on an Orca then it would do some serious damage but it's landing the shot that's the hard bit. I'm not sure if Orcas actually prey on Great Whites of this size? I'm sure it has been done before even if it hasn't been filmed yet. I dunno mate, I don't like to put much thought into which animal would beat which. Takes away a bit from how cool all these beasts are! Another favourite, leopard seals.

Me neither tbh but it's crazy how easily an Orca can handle something like a Great White when it could bite a quarter out of it. Bush Rummager 4,679
Sighting off the coast at Seaham by looks of it Monday just gone and also apparently spottoed off coast at Seahouses earlier in the month. Would be interesting to know how far south they've been spotted off the East coast over the years!!.. https://www.northumberlandgazette.co.uk/news/environment/possible-killer-whale-sighting-north-east-coast-seaham-2857419

I know a fish farm in Norway used to have a fiberglass orca anchored off its cages to scare the seals. They'd have a feast around here. Atb j They do the same with sting rays in NZ, just eat the livers
eastcoast 4,138
Is there any recorded evidence of 1 of these things taking a human being? As they seem to be frequenting north east of England coast some lucky Geordie may get into the history books. Won't be me though.

Yep tradigides have happened with captive whales, and you can't really blame them. Can't think of more cruel thing to do to a wild animal than keep it locked up.

Not sure what one that was but they seem to kick off every now and again. Using their strengths and never use teeth. Should never be in cages. But then again I think the same rules should apply to rabbits and budgies.
