Set them as light as you can as i had young rats take my birds , i reset them and caught 3 half grown feckers but they'd already done me... 1 Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Farmer I do a bit of ratting on has just had 17 adult budgies killed by rats Hes shot himself in the foot really as he’s got a couple of collies in kennels down the yard and they go mental when I’m about hence I give the place a miss now . Ive recommended trapping but he’s a lazy fecker really and don’t think that will happen . Had the place all nice before the collies but now descended into rat heaven . 1 Quote Link to post

Horrible f***ing things they are rats. My grandfather died in 1976 from leptospirosis fishing got rat piss in a cut on his finger. I wasn't even born at the time. My father says at the time they had to speak to a doctor from south Africa who diagnosed my grandfather knew the symptoms. 1976 was ment to of been one of the hottest summers we've ever had. The waters was tested where he fished sadly that's where it came from. What guts me is that he lost his job an way of life down pit got a bit of depression through it. So doctor says take up a hobby keep your mind in good health so he did fishing . So maggie the stupid bitch not only took my grandads job she took his life too the bitch. Think you have to use MK6's for stoats by law now and the anti's would use the accidental catching bit of stoats in MK4's to there advantage so use MK6's and your always within the law as such..
