Hopefully, I’m up there for first light tomorrow to feed and to see where they are coming off roost, I’ve had a shoot member get carried away feeding so a fare few of the birds are not where I’d expect them to be, we’ll see what tomorrow brings

I’m hoping they have cleared up all the wheat the other lad put down and are hungry in the morning, there’s a chance of a bit of snow up there so that can only be a good thing to keep them around the feed

Up the shoot for first light and it’s very wet. There’s a fare few birds in 3 of the main drives, the amount of wheat the lad put down over a week ago is stupid, a couple of the feed areas look like a wheat field where it has germinated, I’m over the far side now and the track is full of swollen wheat, he’s now been banned from feeding
