It’s been frosty the last couple of mornings, it’s very welcome , hopefully it will kill a few bugs . Unfortunately the Maize and cover crops don’t like it and they will soon be unviable as a drive .

If anyone can be bothered, have a look at the Wild justice Twitter page and Mark Averys site . Read how they won a massive victory that will halt shooting over “vast swathes “ of the countryside ???. They have actually achieved nothing! They are literally lying. And all of their birding bum chums  are applauding how wonderful it is and how wonderful Packem, Avery and the dwarf are . Good grief , I think they might actually believe their own lies . I wonder if they will write a retraction and admit they were A. Lying , or B. Didn’t understand the Defra response.  Maybe they are going to see all of us release our birds in July and August and say “hey , you need a licence “. To which we can all say ??“Sit on it “.

Well, what with all this CP stuff I think I might be generous and send him a little present. I know he likes them and as they keep coming I think it would be nice to share a little happiness.............?

There is a pheasant that has got all territorial near my feed shed . He comes and attacks me , I’ve given him a taste of my size 11 Le chameau’s , but it just makes him all the madder  . It’s him or me , who’s going to be the boss ?

by the way he’s eyeing you up, think we all know who the boss is ?

I wasn't wearing pj's. It was day time and yes he drew blood.

The video went viral  recently on YouTube  but I pulled it because the comments from Packhamites and other equal idiots were winding me up!

Nothing to do with any of this but I was wondering if any of you lot are interested in old mechanical stuff, I love proper old engineering and I’ve never seen one of these before

it’s a 1940’s ( I think) Porsche 2 cylinder, air cooled diesel tractor. Where I was working today the shed is like an Aladdin’s cave, I was having a mooch to see if there was anything I could tap off him and he started tell me it hadn’t started for over 30 years and if I could get it running he’d give me 20 quid, he said they had played with it but couldn’t get it to start. After a quick look I noticed someone had fitted a none return in a fuel line the wrong way ( schoolboy error) swapped it around and a quick blast of brake cleaner in the air intake and away it went, true to his word 20 quid was mine, wish I’d said I’d do it as a job now, I would of taken him for a bit more than 20 quid
