FOXHUNTER 5,021
Had a great couple of hours out with the pup this afternoon mooching. Decided to hunt the boundary dykes and rushes in hope of snipe and woodcock. First 2 flushes were cock pheasants which were folded nicely followed by a hare which was neatly bowled over. Another cock pheasant erupted from the rushes and again folded nicely I then flushed a snipe which I missed Next snipe wasnt so lucky and folded nicely out of some gorse. I then walked a bracken bank in search of woodcock , only lifted 1 but it was duly added to the bag. Final rushes I walked flushed 2 hen pheasants , I got a right and left which ended my little mooch with a smile on my face. 8 Quote Link to post
