Sausagedog 7,381
Weather changes after Wednesday. Winds from the north. I'm hoping it kicks the fox rut in. 1 Quote Link to post

Stavross 16,142
It’s looking like the start of the proper cold weather is on Thursday up here, with a bit of luck we’ll hear a bit more calling, there’s been very little so far, there’s nothing better than getting a call back and wait to see if you can draw them in 2 Quote Link to post

Stavross 16,142
I think I’ll be putting a full shift in at the sheep farm if we are in for a good frost, maybe a quick trip up this week with some fishy goodness on a hedge back or two before the weekend 1 Quote Link to post

shovel leaner 7,650
Well , after my close encounter with the “famous fox “ this morning ( Foxdropper and fox hunter , it’s the one in the video dancing around with the Muntjac) . I apologise to everyone else that I can’t share the footage of the fox chasing and playing, yes playing , with a munty . My IT skills don’t stretch to uploading videos from WhatsApp onto here . So tonight was blowing a fair bit and dark and damp . A good night to foil my nemesis, who has been spotted by everyone . I was to be honest getting sick of hearing people saying “ saw that fox again this morning “ . I set the caller up with a cottontail distress and sat back with a cuppa . 5 minutes went past before “famous “ turned up . Well , you don’t need me to tell you how it turned out , needless to say , the sightings will probably stop now ..... thank f@ck !!! Oh and by the way , it was a vixen . 4 2 Quote Link to post

FOXHUNTER 5,021
Glad you caught up with "famous" . I've just been out for a couple of hours local , there is only 1 fox on this ground and it's very shy. Saw nothing until I got back to the car and there it was sitting on the bank , no chance of a shot and it was gone. 1 Quote Link to post
