I've had dreams that have been so vivid it's like watching a film.

And when you wake up it takes a good 5 seconds to realise that it was a dream

And the feeling of relief is immense for a few seconds.

I once had a weird experience whilst absolutely wasted on e's and I was stood looking at myself cabbaged on a chair and thinking feck this shit and the shock seemed to wake me up back in my body. Was I tripping or had I popped my clogs? I'll never know but I know I was wrecked
