Which dry food?

So have always fed James Wellbeloved in the past but both local suppliers have stopped stocking . What with lock down think I'll be ordering online . 

I am a bit out of touch having not bought anything else for years .....is there a better food out there? I think I tried ferret feast once and they seemed not to like it and were v thirsty. 

Or should I stick to James Welbeloved?

I feed fresh and Dry I either Welbeloved or Alpha and to be honest the ferrets seem to prefer Alpha.

at the moment, feeding mine on csj ferret food,doing ok on it, was feeding Dodson and horrel but gone a bit expensive now,and if im really stuck have  fed pets at home ferret nuggets,but at the end of the day cant beat raw meat,only feed dry crap in summer months to avoid smell and flys round hutch.

I feed mine raw all year round, just when summer comes round I feed last thing at night then remove any access the following morning, it works for me

CSJ sounds good but can't find it anywhere??   BTW I feed raw in winter but not through the summer except if I have an old timer with bad teeth.

Feeding dried food in the summer made life a lot easier mine genuinely favour James Wellbeloved over others I've tested although not tried Alpha. The one change I made was moving to additional drinkers, it's extraordinary how much more water they go through compared to when fed raw. In the court I put in a chicken drinker

Wonder if shops are not making as much margin out of Wellbeloved? Store I use stopped carrying Wellbeloved but are happy to order 10kg sacks for me.

If you look on the CSJ website it should have a list of stockists for you to find your local one, they might not have ferret food in stock but can order it in. I think they deliver off the website too.

 It's 18 -20 quid a sack.

Is the csj stuff any good ? I use there dog food and it seems good stuff 

I only feed dry in summer and used to use ferret feast but found some coffin shaped ferret biscuits in a plain bag that was cheaper cant remember name of it now made in rotherham I think

Yes, I am sorry to say we have stopped the ration for Ferrets.
