They was dropping bombs on us and we was trying to blow them out of the sky,people tend to die in wars they wasnt having fisticuffs...i cant work out if you are one of them guilty winner types or a Mother Theresa type but we couldnt be more opposite in our thoughts on the subject so best leave it at that

No shit sherlock, that still doesn't mean we have to hate them today does it? War brings out the worst in people as well as the best. They still had loved ones just like our soldiers did. It's not about getting over emotional for them it's a case of remembering, good or bad. 

I suppose British soldiers who have gone on to forgive and shake the hands of German soldiers are not "proper" soldiers to you?
