Do you want to keep it as a butchers block or use it as a table ?.......if it’s the latter I have seen some tidy things done with clear resin to level the surface

Had a Saturday job in a butchers, used to scrub them blocks, used to think I was Rocky in the chiller with a hind 1/4. Anyone speak the aul butchers backslang? Learnt it from my aul fella who was from a family of butchers.

Might have to take a look at that. I want a butchers block but I really think this is past its best, the photos don't show how bad it really is.
