well after having the ambulance out 2 months ago for the first time in my life things have changed.still no idea what caused that unbelievable pain and according to the doctors i am ok but no reson for it.health checks done and no problems so i have to hope it never happens again.could have been corvid 19 for all i know.diet has now reduced my weight from 14st 7 lbs to 13st as of today and my bmi has come down from 32.6 to 29.2.nothing like a scare to  give you the motivation you need to do something.

problem is a have had a very sweet tooth all my life and it is very hard not to fall back into those bad habits.cutting out chocolate has probably been as hard as someone quitting smoking.have to remember, force myself not to buy any whenever i am in any sort of shop.the weight i have lost though is making a big difference and i do feel a lot better for not lugging around that extra 21lbs of fat.just wondering now what the weight will settle at as my target was 13st originally.when the gym finally opens the weights will get a bit lighter and the reps will increase as lower reps and more weight is doing my blood pressure no favours.

Whats the test they do where they measure the fat on you in various places with kinda calipers? I googled BMI & it just says height/weight. Even at my lightest when I feel bodily weak, it says im obese!

Well done .357 (Y)

Aye a think those online calculators are a load of shite. I just done the nhs one there and it says at 15 stone I'm obese at 6ft3. Says a healthy weight for 6ft3 is down to 10st 9

for sure they do not take into account the fact you lift as we all know muscle is heavier than fat

Ahh If you said stomach i was going to suggest kidney stone on the move you would be surprised how many times they get over looked  and they don't always show on the x-ray...but its clearly not that , sounds rough whatever it was glad you're feeling better

Like everything it is a compromise.  Everyone is different.   It's horses for courses. You might be 6.3 and be able to lift a lot of weight but go online and do one of these aerobic workouts. Now I'm ( well I thought I  was) quite fit and agile ?, seeing as of lockdown and pissing it down I  haven't been out with the spaniel as much recently, SO she was doing an online aerobic class.  I decided to join  in.   What a camel.!!   In the end I found one for old gits that I  could keep up with. A real shocker.
