fred90 3,328
just started with a ttf catty first since being a kid. After a couple of weeks practicing I am now finding some accuracy. when I use aiming dimp it shoots too far to the right. I use the tip of fork and its accurate, does this mean I am holding it wrong? or should I carry on with tip of fork?
Mr Wilkes 3,105
If you are hitting what you are aiming at then carry on with what you are doing. Where did ya get it from?.

I got a tt f from him this week too, shoots spot on, light and pocketable. It was fitted with tbg 30/20 and a nice microfiber pouch, my bandset didn't last long either. carlstoke 34
Try moving your anchor point out slightly, it works pretty much like open sights on a rifle, had the same problem but kept hitting left, try drawing a biro line down the centre of the top band and try to keep the bands directly under your dominant eye, hope this helps, let us know how you go. Greyman 30,095
I’ve got a few with aiming dimps and invariably end up using the corner of the frame as a reference, only one I have that seems to aim down the dimp is a bill Hayes target sniper

I am not complaining, I use tip of fork and its accurate. just wonder why it doesn't work for me using the dimp.

We are all shaped a little differently mate, so no one shape will fit all, something that can help is drawing a line in black marker down the middle of the band, seems to make lining everything up much easier

Try sheshou 0.6 with 9.5mm steel it’s a very forgiving band
