I think the only difference between the r1 engine and the fz1 engine was a different cam.

 My Mate triked a fireblade..... Took me to a job interview yrs ago.... 147 mph passing stuffswear the lenses came out of my glasses... Felt like contactssat in the interview teeth chattering and buzzing like f**k from the adrenaline some buzz when you not got a lid on , I try get some pictures,had some real nice touches,  triblade drilled into the discssome bit of kit, his Oldman builds them for a living, very clever blokes.

Honestly I was traumatised dc why the feck any one would ride like that I don't know I was shaking I sat there I couldn't talk after  no I will stick with 4 wheels

I get more pleasure out of restoring or modifying bikes than riding them. A plaggy that I've done a lot of work on but is on hold at the minute.
