400 four was a nice bike to ride. ?. First bike I was legally on the road with at 18 was DT 125 had a few different bikes after that, DR 350 with a big bore kit was a good tool, DR 400E. couple of bandits and the last was a FZ1. Really miss not having a bike at the minute but I'll get another when the time is right.

Honda 50s was the mode of transport here back in the day. Even house had one, or a 90.

Neighbour was tell me, when he was young he went to the UK to work the beet. We he came home he bought a brand new Honda 50, insured and delivered to the house for a 180 pound.

This was in 1974. It lasted well over 20 years.

You wouldn't do it today.

You'd be polishing that red plastic to within an inch of its life ??

As would I.

Had an old 50 here for years, held together with wire, vice grips, a bean can for a baffle, the big heavy red flash light for a light, ??? rough but useable.

Would be called a rat bike today, and probably worth a fortune LOL
