And the MK2 Mexico had a 1.6 pinto 8 engine

Think it was just a tad over 210bhp dont know if it's good but back then it felt like a rocket sure he said he only spent about 2500 all in. Looked like a heap of shite and gave a friend a shot ended up blowing the engine. Problem is the fiestas being fwd looses too much power and eats tyres through wheel spin never mind torque steer that makes ya think your going through hedges when the power comes on, rwd or awd are best and more fun in the turbo cars

Not necessarily, torque steer is down to unequal drive shaft length in most cases an lsd normally would cut most of it out

Igz 1,451
I’d deffo go Subaru. We used to put both these cars through there paces week in week out and for me the Subaru a much better drive and handling and like others say a lot less will go wrong with the Subaru as long as it’s not a nacker from the start although if it was to take on a track I’d go evo as you would have more fun. My mates got a lotus Colton which he brought 20 years ago it’s now worth 80-100 grand. Think he payed around the 10 grand mark for it
