Nobby 65 Posted October 23, 2005 Report Share Posted October 23, 2005 Took a mates son ferreting his first time out on some land i got last year through a mate the keeper is sound when i phoned him to go up he said that mixy had killed alot of the rabbits but there was still a few here and there .When we got up there we walked to the first holes to try and there was 3 dead rabbits near the holes didn't look very good we walked a bit more and saw a rabbit go to ground got 2 out of there it was a slow day ended up with 7 and a rat that bolted and jumped in the river my mates son got it with a rock was a wet and misty day but the young lad thought it was mint :11: a few pics Quote Link to post

Nobby 65 Posted October 24, 2005 Author Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 Smudge cheers; We had to work hard for them rabbits didn't have a dog with us so we were netting up holes that look used that had now't in . The mixy has knocked the numbers down.I used to go beating up Bowes and on Raby so know a few of the keepers. Quote Link to post
