:boxing: thats what they want if you catch them mate!

WHEN the thieves are found. I will try an put their names and address and a big photo of them, on every site and in every dog paper.... would it not be a good idea to get a list up of past and present dog thieves for all to look at.... people to keep well away from..

Travellers and others I might add are stealing a lot of dogs thats for sure, they don't care where they get them from, or what breed they are, any old mut will make £100 these days sold in the free adds etc

The dogs you fellas have are very vulnerable, unlike house dogs my guess is you boys with working dogs keep them outside in a kennel its much eaier i'd think to rob a dog from your garden than break into your house, be carefull who you show a litter too or talk about your dogs too, travellers and theives don't walk about with a sign on their heads saying gypsy or theif! crooks tend to mingle in very easy!

Keeping my dogs inside makes me feel a bit safer in respect to this, I think it was ditchshitter who said that if someone enters your home then you can use reasonable force which can be easly justifyed to as lethal force (just don't shoot them in the back as they are running away).

The other week I was walking my dogs and a traveller kid came up and started taking pictures of them I asked him what he thought he was doing and he said that he wanted to show the pics to his big brother; I nearly took the phone off him and threw it in a pond. I don't trust many in the hunting dog community straight off the bat which is sad as most are top folks; but it only takes one prick to stitch you up and then all the work you've put in (not to mention the family pet) has gone.

Sorry I'm ranting noww...

the thought of some fecker stealing my dog\dogs sends my blood boilin.... unfortunatly thats the world we live in..have to be on the ball at all times.

Its people trying to buy ready made dogs, that is keeping the scums trade going. Every one should get a pup from a good working back ground and bring it up to how they want it. High prices for dogs and pups just encourages these scum to take our dogs. Stop the trade by giving your pups to poeple that are willing to work them. If there is no profit to be made they will not take them.

Working terriers are made for work, not profit........................

Good post smellydog, ive said it on here before,be carefull what your buying and who your buying it off, someone is keeping these feckers in business!

over ten years back a keeper mate rang me and told me that some gypos were stealing terriers that worked and was taking them to a farm in eire and from there they was being sent to the usa. they was getting good bucks for them. as for thieves on these sites they really do exist we had a lurcher taken by one chap that was on these sites who was stealing dogs all over the place. he got caught and paid the price as well as left the town but he came over all matey on the screen. so dont let anyone get close to your home you dont know or thats not known to someone you know.and get a gaurd dog for your kennel if they are outside.
