Cracking looking dog that hound cross. How tall is it FP and what’s it like in cover?

Never had a tape on him  would say at a guess hes about  16 inch.he has no problem with any cover  .he just suffers a bit with ears getting shredded.he has the beagle jacket

Not that big at all then. Nice dog him. Not a lot you can do for the ears I suppose mate. Does he cover the ground quicker that your other types?

these are the only 2 beaglecockers that I’ve have owned,I had black & tan bitch off foxpack which I currently still got & the other dead but in all fairness these 2 are bother cracking workers would keep any Lurcher on its toes they will hunt Rabbits,Hares & Fox but that suited me but Fox they prefer & would hunt all day long no cover,hedge etc to thick just smash through it really like this x atb cbx

Yes mate lol .he can cover ground rapid .

Are they a first cross beagle x cocker, so 50% of each? Or are they bred cross breed to cross breed.

I like the beagle cockers myself... Busy little dogs that hold a line well.

I also keep a terrier spaniel and there like chalk and cheese... Both have there place but I find the terrier spaniel is a harder little dog looking to kill what she is after.. And if she gets chance will grab anything she's hunting. 

The beagle xs or mine at least seem to be about the hunt.... Don't get me wrong they two will grab there quarry but there is definately a difference in the way they work
