how to attach long net to poles

Even the black braid on matyJ's pic above looks way to thick IMO

 

i dont know what size that is 'loader but its a magnum net and was awkward to get the knots to bite real tight so i put some chopped up inner tube bads over them. on the others i have its only about 1.5-2mm braid and i find that much better for gripping the grommits, i still use the bands over them just incase.

Im prety sure by now that the magnum trap company will know of this problem, as i would put a bet on a person with ties to them has read this and passed it on to them making them aware.

ive seen many nets rigged a few yrs back with black running lines. it wanst braid it was a polyetherleen(?) and they were bloody awful

 

The problem now is what the feck do I do with the black braid that I took of the net and replaced with 3mm....lol make a rope swing?? Tow rope?
