brock 11
my mate has a saluki x greyhound (bitch)and has a coursing dog pup,he was asking me yesterday if i thought spaying the bitch would make any difference to her running ability,he has them kenneled together so needs to know if he needs to make plans to do something with one of them when the bitch is in season Quote Link to post
macker 5
would not recomend it at all. for the sake of some kennel management. why would you bother getting an operation like that. have seen it take the spark out of a dog all together cant see the sence in it my self. Quote Link to post
Garypco 2
plus they tend 2 put some weight on once thet get spayed <{POST_SNAPBACK}> doesnt make any difference the metabolic rate slows down,so feed em less, other than that if u dont wanna breed frm the bitch, makes life easyer, not something id consider myself cos i breed my own stock, however if your mates on any form benefits, even workin family tax credit, i could probably get a voucher through the dogs trust sent to you, would cost him £25 max, vets charge any thing frm £90-£130,otherwise pm me if u wanna know any more mate....
