WILD GARLIC (RANSOMS)

The River banks are covered with them and they are very nice to eat ! they smell a little like Garlic but they taste just like Peppery Spinach , they only need a wash and a minute on the stove and job done , nice in a salad , stir fry or on their own , a dishful goes a long way as the don't wilt down as much as Spinach and of course they are free.

The foliage on them trees doesn’t look like the trees down here either, ours are all turning brown the ones in the picture look more like springtime

Picture  i have just  taken  of the same spot  as April, the plants are no longer succulent  they seem Fibrous  and rough to the touch ,  i think they will be here for a while though
