paul sr 796
Years ago they used to give the pigs a bottle of Guinness for 7 to 10 days before slaughter . It added flavor to the meat .

When I started they always stopped feeding onions 3 month before it went to market as one time they sold a bullock at market and had to buy it back after it was butchered as it tasted beef and onion
Born Hunter 17,751
I'm in the process of moving house and one of the things I want is a fruit garden. I have no natural aptitude for keeping stuff alive but I eat tons of berries so going to give this a go. The plot I have in mind in is about 6mx4m. At the moment my only thoughts are autumn fruiting raspberries, because you can plant them at a higher density. I'd appreciate any advice....

Blackcurrants and red currants , goose berries can all be planted same way you'd plant the raspberries
