I've said it before on here - there's a difference between pikeys and gypsies.

 

Gypsies are fine by me - no one wants to live near pikeys.

 

I think a lot of people have never (maybe never knowingly) dealt with gypsies so, they all get tarred with the same brush.

It's a shame really.

If everyone had the attitude that you have about taxation where would we be. 

We would be like Greece they didn't like paying taxes either, in fact it was a national pastime avoiding them .

Mate you have your view, fair enough, personally I weighed in all my working life but I genuinely couldn’t give a shit if someone isn’t declaring a few grand to the tax man......won’t make me any richer or poorer.

I watched it and also found it a tad one sided,every time facts were presented about the surge in crime,after caravans and their occupants turned up,some leftie tried to find other reasons for the obvious.As with a few on here i make judgements on what i read and view in the media plus real life experiences.I know fine well the media manipulates opinion and some folk are robotic in support of anything that it portrays,like fecking sheep.I spent a few years associating with travellers,went on the road with them tatty picking,laying the black stuff,scrap dealing and even selling rugs and lino,plus more importantly chasing a few hares about the A1.I met Irish lads on 1 hand you could trust,the majority of the English were OK,most were thieves,every one of them knew every angle at the dole office and they all had more money and better motors than me,because they knew how to play the system,work,sign on,thieve and count the cash.The Irish community are pure scum,on the whole and the minority that are not i feel sorry that they are connected,tough at the trough of humanity.If you have the same outlook on life as many a decent enough English traveller,you will have possibly made a few friends amongst them.I found the programme could have been far harsher and more honest about the impact they have on crime rates,especially localised to their vicinity and rural,the cost of the clear ups after they vacate illegal encampments,the price the local authorities set aside to enforce legal judgement and pay out in wages to set up welfare officers etc.If they left others folks hard earnt possessions alone,respected the elderly,cleaned up their own mess and stopped destroying others property,especially land,gates and fences and respected other peoples views,them maybe folk would be happy enough to ignore many of their lesser infringements on society.

You can count your true friends on one hand as they say and on mine there be 3 travelers but none of them spearchuckers

Apparently that little girl who was murdered was by a Somali, but the media has covered it. Not sure if that's true or not. Bit off topic.
