Yep there good , I also like to cut the breast off them stick them in a mixture of flour ,salt ,pepper,chilli flakes , shake them up , then dip them in egg whites then back in to the flor for another light dustin* then strait in a heavy bottom shallow frying ban ,serve with a salad and dressing , or ....do the same thing but cut in to long 10mm wide strips and fry and serve as a snack with a sweet chilly sauce ,

Need a 4x4 just to drive over the piles of roadkill pheasants round here lol .....ok bit of an exaggeration but they are all over the place.  I take plenty for the pot but only in season ,fairs fair. 

I'd have definitely had a word if I'd seen them .

I wouldn't know where to start with pate mate.

A simple beer batter with a bit of heat, dice a few pheasant breast I can do straight in a pitta bread with salad and mayo l can manage lol.

Same here, loads of fresh road kill most days. I could harvest plenty if I wanted, either by running them over or plinker out the window of the motor, much prefer to see them about. Dogs occasionally catch them, in that case I'll take them but no need to target them indiscriminately.

Woah steady on there sweet cheeks there out of season they will more than likely kill a hen and leave the eggs and her  you have been told there's not many about and who mentioned authorities if the papers got hold of it can you see the head lines we would all get tarnished with the same brush

I told someone all the dead rabbits in the boot was off some poachers I'd caught and my lurcher was knackered from chasing them off.
