jetro 5,349
Been watching two gobshites trying to shoot pheasants this eveing with rifles, at the back of my place. I couldn't believe it when the told me. I ask why, and what they were going to do with them. Just for the craic I was told . Also no talk about lock down, or social distanceing, The gene pool definitely needs to be cleaned around here. Atb j

THE STIFFMEISTER 16,009
As Dog men certainly don’t help ourselves at times. But in all honesty , I cannot stand Johnny come latelys with guns. my wife’s cousin has lived for 5 months In an estate lodge , she’s gone full retard , Barbour jackets , wellies , chickens , calling people townies , recently said that shell be getting a gun to “ shoot a few of these wild sheep, if it gets really bad “ some clowns shouldn’t be let out of the circus 1

Atb j Total pricks, they will have a harem of hens kicking about too.....I’m afraid I couldn’t have kept my temper mate. Apart from that you ain’t allowed to shoot birds with a rifle in Ireland, I’d have took a stick to the c**ts. Edited April 16, 2020 by WILF

Luckily they didn't get anything, well as far as I know, they didn't. The only goid thing is, this is just a passing fancy for these, they will soon get sick of it Atb j
JDHUNTING 1,817
Two lads hunting pheasants? Better call the RSPCA or the bizzies. Some of you would be better on mumsnet. And wilf your a racist bloke that lived in London right? And you can't control your temper also? You must've had some battles in your time, must be a real tough nut.

You have respect for your quarry, bring it home and eat it. These thickos wound just leave the bird, hare, rabbit there to rot, killing for the sake of it Atb j

Exactly. There was no pheasants around here till myself and another lad let them loose about 15 odd years ago. Only a very small clutch survived, but they seen to be hold their own. Daniel cain 45,556
I spent 3 days looking after hearing one call round by me.... Found him yesterday, 1 lonely cock bird, nearest shoot must be a good 10/15 mile away, first one I've ever known round here Said to my lad on a walk.. That's a pheasant calling son.... He looked at me stupid ... I found him though... Starting to see more bits and bobs local, good numbers of rabbits for the first time in I don't know how many yrs..... Nice to see

Yea fair enough if that was the case then I’d not be shooting them and can see why people would be annoyed at lads shooting them , especially if they just leaving them there ,that’s just a c**ts trick no matter if there’s 1 or 100,000 birds down
