I know nothing about the man but a lad recently told me about one of his records and just out of pure curiosity i had to work out the maths.....but it worked out that he had done the equivalent to something like 200 press ups.....every hour.....of every day......for 1 year ......i still cant work out if thats good,great or very slightly deranged.

I'm a bit more optimistic and like to view it as an evolution for the ancient tradition of humans sharing their experiences, stories and thoughts. There's a line somewhere between that and simple shallow vanity.

It's powerful, being able to share what you do and who you are with others who are similar as well as your 'normal' social group.

Think if memory serves he was very much about the Guinness book of record type of achievements, my mate was boxing at the time, had a gym and was into his extreme fitness so paddy used to come down quite regular before his record attempts and train with him, I,m assuming it’s the same dude I would have been in my 20s at the time and he was a simular age, so guess he’d be mid to late 50s now, recon he would have given born,s man crush a run for his money and he had cotton shorts
