My first post so i thought it appropriate to thank each and everyone of you for the endless threads of knowledge on this site that i am just starting to scrape the surface off and hopefully through time i can also contribute some of my own experiences here as well.

During my teen years i done a lot of hunting over a 5-6 year period with a mate who owned a few whippet x lurchers and ferrets and mostly just went ferreting or lamping for rabbits unless we got lucky and his older brother and his pal needed us to accompany them on some foxing duties of theirs so had a good bit of experience but then the ladies came into heat and my male instincts kicked in and my hunting days were put on pause until now.

I am mainly interested in ferreting with purse nets and longnets to start with then maybe when i get to grips with it all again i might invest in a good whippet x companion as i think these are ideal for the hand at task from previous experience but for now i have invested in a mk3 box and collars with some purse nets as i was able to pick them up second hand reasonably cheap and my next buy is a hutch and accessories and hopefully get a kit or two soon so i can start the taming process and maybe get them into action next season.

If anyone has any threads videos or other sites i could be learning from can yous please comment below as like most at this time i have a lot of free time on my hands and i would like to learn as much now as i possibly can.

Thanks in advance and stay safe everyone
