I know people that get really depressed with it, can't see why to be honest Atb j I have always suffered in the winter anyway mate, so yeah a bit. But the upside is that when we do get a fine day it’s an amazing place to live, as my Mrs says “If the weather was good all the time everyone would want to be here and it wouldn’t be the same” This week, god forgive me!, I’m happy to see the rain as I have re-seeded a paddock and a small bit of lawn and I want my grazing to kick on a bit.

All thats needed is a few showers and heat. Not much. We will hopfully have a great summer, a bit of heat promised next week. Did you hit the bog yet. Some weather for it. I miss it already, we decided on no turf here. I'll still do the in laws turf for though. Atb j

If winter is mild I won’t need to cut any next year which will be handy, still got a fair bit in the shed.

Yeah, we spoke about it here, and it works out a small bit more expensive will oil, but a lot easier, since it will be just two of us here. Turf alright stored for a year to two, much longer than that, it's no good for heat. Atb j

My mate was guna give me a hand but he got called in to work so I watched a few instructional videos on YouTube and got on with it. Pain in arse on it own up and down off scaffolding all day plus had 2 stop twice for rain and once to nip to site. Reckon would've got it all done with someone helping me and no distractions! Other half and roller shutter fitting tomorrow.

Couldn't do much here today with rain, planted some shrubs. Hopfully tomorrow will be dried. Atb j

South hams hunter 8,921
Built a den, turnt the tree into a monkey enclosure for the neighbours, made a planter and filled it... All with help (of sorts from the girls) and the strawberries are doing really well, both wild and cultivated and the chives are flowering. Been enjoying lock down with the girls tbh Oh and the goldies are back feeding well
