I’m hearing gyms might be allowed to reopen on 4th July...

Got mixed feelings about it because I’ve come to enjoy training on the backyard in the sun.

Also, if one good thing has come from all this, other than my tan, it’s that I got tagged in one of those 5k things and it’s got me running now for pretty much the last 6 weeks! I’m not fast or out to run a marathon but I don’t hate it. Ha

Not timing properly but around 23-24min. Like I said, not fast at all. I alternate 5k with 5mi when I sort of feel like it. Never done any dedicated cardio before, whenever I’ve tried I’ve picked up injuries and just hated every minute. It’s always bugged me though because I wanted a more balanced fitness regime, but equally I want to enjoy it. Anyway for some reason, I actually quite enjoy it now. I just wanna get out in the sun and tick over, fight that urge to quit and feel stronger for it.

When I was younger and tried running I used to get bursitis and ITBS all the f***ing time which f****d my lifting so I sacked it off. Tried swimming sporadically but I seem to be very good at sinking so thats also short lived! Haha.

For some reason now Im into my thirties I feel much ‘healthier’. That said I ‘poped’ a tendon in my forearm doing front levers with shitty form months ago and that’s only just recovered. Made me feel old! Ha

It must be an age thing, I hyperextended my elbow the other day on the punchbag and haven't been right since. ?

The whole point of a full body routine like 5x5 is going quite light when first starting, it's nigh on impossible though to not ego lift. ?

Same, it's because my feet are nearly flat is part of my problem or so the physio tells me
