Neobliviscaris1776 1,998
I wonder what difference if any we would see in the total deaths in the UK if there was no lockdown at all from the beginning. No lockdowns, no mask's, no business's shut, no schools closed, no gyms closed, pubs, bars, restaurants etc etc. No cancelled operations for those needing medical treatment. The list goes on. It's made no difference in my opinion.

For the big supermarkets it was business as usual and we were all there during the so called lockdowns. Shut down the country but let's all meet at ASDA every few days. I never knew Asda was used as a hangout place during lockdown? No need for silly comments like that, you think a lockdown should include food shops too?

That was the case wasn't it? Correct me if I'm wrong. A hang out...no. A place where everyone congregates...yes. If a lockdown did include supermarkets, we would have no country left, it would be burning right now.

They have done what is reasonably practicable. How else could they manage the supermarket situation? They advised us to only go shopping for essentials and visit the shops as little as possible. It's about time we took some responsibility ourselves, we can't blame everything on the government if we are flaunting the rules and advice. I understand what your saying but I don't believe that cases are what should be of concern, it's the deaths that matter. If average age of death is 82 years old, is there really a concern for anyone? I'll be happy with heading off at 82. Edited October 13, 2020 by Neobliviscaris1776

My employer insisted I get my daughter a test. I said I wish that I'd not mentioned anything about her cough, that's the only symptom she really had so the chances of it being the virus is slim. I followed our companies procedure but i doubt I'll get payed for it, saying that I'm sure they payed me for the days I had off a few months back when I was off. But don't you understand that if we flood the hospitals with patients then the chances of younger vulnerable people dying from the thing goes up? You also have to take in to account that if the hospitals were overrun with Covid-19 patients then the treatment of other patients will suffer?
