dogmandont 9,814
Well that’s me finished up with work and officially on lockdown although the government has got in touch with my employer to ask if they could build portacabins for the nhs if the need arises and they’ve agreed that they would so I could be back sooner rather than later.

Nicepix 5,650
We've been given even tighter guidelines. 1 hour maximum outside exercise and within 1km from home, once a day. I got Google Maps on the computer and worked out that the walk I do with the dog is no more than 1km from home as the crow flies so today I've done the 3km round trip and had 20 minutes spare out of my hour's allowance. Tomorrow I get to go to the supermarket Whoo-Hoo!

We now have to put a time we go outside on the form, not just the date. Last week I did over 300 miles on mole patrol, and have done 8 daily dog walks, all requiring a separate notice and guess how many times I've been checked? Not fecking once! Nicepix 5,650
No, the Mairie is closed down. Not that I'd have to report as he can see me working in the garden through his office window. The same window he used to shoot pigeons off the church roof with his air rifle He won't be bothered anyway. He's just come last in the primary elections so his days are numbered.
dytkos 17,791
I used to live out in the sticks but over the last 5 years there's been a huge council office, a self store unit, a builders merchants and just recently a 3/400 housing estate making us almost on the edge of a town. The rural spots I walk from the door are now being accessed by loads of people and whereas before it was just a few locals dog walking (out of holiday season) it is now almost mainstream for lots of people. Yes I've got permission to walk the fields in this area but it's not "mine" anymore. Cnuts even use our parking spaces by the cottages if we're not in. This has been happening before the virus outbreak and can only see it getting busier as people feel the need to "get away from it all" to exercise. Selfish? Yeah, you'd better believe it but they bought their des res's in swanky areas and we're happy to parade their pugs and cockerpoos round the local park but now want to invade ours when things aren't going to plan. Yours, disgruntled from Cornwall. Cheers, D. .
