Looked like the entire cast of Rise of the Footsoldier in 1930s clothes. Plot was pretty similar too. 5/10. They are getting worse British gangster films

Born Hunter 17,788
Seven Years in Tibet Quite a bit of history portrayed and with a decent cast. I quite like finding films from 20 years ago. Edited November 16, 2020 by Born Hunter 2
pesky1972 5,325
Quite enjoyed a docufilm thingy I watched on Sky documentaries called ‘The Biggest Little Farm’. About a couple in California trying to set up an eco-farm, and their battle with the various pests and predators. Not exactly selling it I know, but it’s well shot, and I liked it

Simoman 110
I've found decent box sets are superior to films now. I just watched North by Northwest, classic Hitchcock

I only ever met Tate for about 15 minutes and that was just talking a load of bollocks having a joke in a boozer so I couldn’t say if it’s a decent portrayal or not, the bloke wasn’t a nutter when I met him anyway. What did crack me up is the other bloke who played Tates mate, that syrup they put him in is comedy gold. He wasn’t a bad bloke either as I remember but as I say it was only 15 minutes and we was just having a piss take of each other. Anyway, safe to say, not classics ! We wasnt pals or anything but i knew Tucker a little bit and believe me that barnet wasnt bad enough ....it was a mad f****n hairdo no doubt about it ! from what i saw and knew about Tate the character played by Fairbrass was really good and chaps who knew Tate better than i did say the same so that'll do for me.....like you say though i think the Bafta's are safe.
