I’ve been through Netflix and didn’t fancy anything on there so I payed £4.99 and streamed the newish Sam Mendes film 1917 , it’s the best film I’ve seen in a long time , I can recommend it , my wife even liked it and she doesn’t like war films as a rule and groaned when I put it on . 10/10

 if you're one of these stone hard killer types we see, on here, who hates mankind and would cull his own son, at ten, if he jacked after hand strangling his fourteenth fox in a night? (And, why not?) Don't bother.

  There's no explosions. No one gets decapitated. No, one hisses through gritted teeth, set in a square and stubbly jaw.

  It's just a good little film. Got a story to it. Leading lady is certainly no affront to the eye (Unlike in that fukcing thing I had to switch off the other night. " First Kill ". Fukc me! Moose Pig!)

Listed as " Mature ". The wife would probably enjoy it. The kids wouldn't understand it.

Just watched Rambo last blood. 

Pretty much what was expected, Rambo's minding his own business, some baddies kill someone dear to him, he kills them all using several different methods.

Not a bad, if predictable watch.

I agree mate - classic Rambo revenge film. 

 

I did like the newer cinematography while watching him f**k up the bad guys though - see the bit where he pulled out mateys collar bone
