Ken's Deputy 4,460
" Aranyak " Flix. 8 x 45. Indian. First episode's sold it to me Dare to be different, ffs! It's fun! Little, cultural nuances. Odd stereotype. Touches of complete madness! Indian police; We'd just like to ask you some questions, if that's ok? Where were you, last night? Suspect; " I, er .. " Shlappp!!! Where Were You, Last Night?!? Edited January 5, 2022 by Ken's Deputy

pesky1972 5,325
Not a film but a 3 part documentary on ‘The Man Who Bought Cricket’. I was vaguely aware of this story at the time, but not a fan of the sport and so didn’t pay too much attention. Fascinating illustration of how many (most) people are utterly seduced by money. Worth a watch.

Ken's Deputy 4,460
" Get In " Flix. Hour 35. French. Yet another 'Timid man pushed till the monster within awakes' genre piece of crap. Don't bother.
Bosun11 537
Land - A 2021 film starring Robin Wright, who also directs it. Again, one of those films i just stumbled upon, and i'm so glad i did. A woman who has lost her family and can't deal with the burdon she puts on others. So she buys a cabin in the wilderness of Wyoming, and the things she has to deal with there. It's a great plot, well filmed and says as much when there's no dialogue, as when there is. It's got decent ratings anyway but i'm giving it an easy 8.5/
Ken's Deputy 4,460
" Blind Revenge " Flix. Hour half. Naah. Never really got off the ground, to be honest. Bit half arsed throughout. The ending lost any impact as, by then, it was just okay to get it finished with.
