Mr Harrigan's Phone.

Flix. Hour forty five. Donald Sutherland ~ so That's who it was?!

Steven King short story adaptation. I didn't know that either. Figures though. About on the level of a spooky bed time story. 12 Certificate.

Was 'alright'. Could've been shorter. Don't rush.

Watched it last night mate, what did you take from it ?

bit of a strange one ?

Well, as above, really, mate ? Somewhat underwhelmed.

I never knew it was King, till I saw it in the end credits. Made sense then. I've found quite enough of his stuff to be ~ or perhaps deliberately aimed at catering to the? ~ somewhat naive.

'The same old story', presented with his name on it seems to get people wetting themselves. Just never seen it, myself. Nothing against the man. Just not really my cup of tea.

Preferred Koontz, for my fix of Americana, back when I could read books ~ and did, voraciously. Liked his research. Like, how many Mg. of sodium pentothal to get someone revealing shit, without them simply passing spark out.

James Herbert was my all time favourite though. He was good on research too. It's the little, incidental, snippets in a novel that fascinate me.

Anyway ..... films ...

The Luckiest Girl Alive.

Flix. Two hours.

Hour too long. Two hours too long, if ye sit through it.

Mila Kunis. I don't find her remotely attractive and find her acting wooden and one dimensional.

Throw in that this whole dirge was simply a 'made for flix', long, drawn out statement for political correctness.

Forgive me ~ I'm gonna throw up ....!

The idea of the story line is ok, the execution is Netflix... so it was shit..
