I've just finished watching The Exorcist - it's a series from 2016 on Prime.

 

The first series was pretty good - it follows on from the original film.

 

The second series was fairly shite - it was like they tried too hard to keep it going for a yank audience.

 ........ Also, a poof Exorcist, really?

Flix. Hour three quarter. Vinnie Jones. Ron Perlman. Malcolm McDowell (aka 'Sting').

Dunno. It wasn't the acting, I don't think. There was nothing too challenging in it. Story line was what it was, I s'pose.  Could it be down to Direction? Don't know. I wouldn't want to hang the poor director out to dry, if it wasn't him either.

Film just lacked 'Oomph! '. That's the best way I can describe it. Bit cardboard cut out, maybe.

Definite B, anyway

new top gun.not a bad film at all.jen conelly looks bloody good in it.val kilmer really looks bad compare to cruise.if you like the original this will be a good one for you.just the music at the beginning brings back lots of good memories from  much better times.bit like raiders of the lost ark when that tune starts up.film itself is very much like the original but so over the top as far as a certain pilot doing what no other can do.would give it 7+ out of ten.
