eastcoast 4,121
I have just watched Stardust on ITV2. Not the David Essex film but a more recent completely daft but sumptuous enjoyable escape from reality fantasy film. Robert De Nero perfect as usual. Clare Dane as effervescent as a real star. Michelle Pfeiffer... playing a witch, a 400 hundred year old witch, still hot. Even liked the Take That song.
Ken's Deputy 4,459
" Prey ". Flix. Hour twenty five. German with subs. Pretty fukking pointless, actually. Bunch of blokes, hiking in the woods, get picked off by what turns out to be a pretty smoking woman with a rifle. But, what's about it, really. Wouldn't bother. Ken's Deputy 4,459
" Comes A Bright Day ". Flix. Hour twenty five. Good little film! Well worth a watch. Timothy Spall, among others. And a chick with a whole 'Young Kate Winslet' thing going on. (Fukking easy on the eye!) Centres around a London jewellery shop raid that goes rapidly to rat shit. Tons else going on though. Actually a 'feel good' one. Enjoyed it

I have also got in to the original Blake's 7, loved it first time round about 40 years back, now re running on Forces TV channel but also available on You tube. The props are shite but the storyline is good, first episode, wow, talk about conspiracies lol Cheers, D.
Ken's Deputy 4,459
" The Women And The Murderer ". Flix. Hour and a half, documentary. Fukking heartbreaking. Sand nigger, in Paris, 1990's decides he's hard done by, so sets about serial raping and slaughtering beautiful young, white women. Well worth a watch.
Greb147 6,809
I was watching Dances With Wolves yesterday afternoon when it suddenly dawned on me. Kevin Costner is one of the worst A-List actors ever, just completely wooden to fcuk.
Ken's Deputy 4,459
" Hard Times ". Flix. Hour and half. I really don't know what to say ....!

Road To Perdition is also one I will watch if it’s on, Newman, epic as ever ! Edited September 19, 2021 by WILF

Good bit of fun.. Thinking on the best part was when the witch got tired of the crap coming out of Ricky Gervais and put a spell on him so that every time he opened his mouth he croaked like a frog... shame someone couldn't do that in real life.

I tried " The Bad Samaritan " next. Guess what?!
