Dervburner 2,549
It’s got an article about most common shooting mistakes. Made me think of mine, which is getting ready to load my rifle, only to realise that I’ve left the bolt in the cabinet Can be slightly annoying 2 Quote Link to post

I have forgotten my powder flask once and caps on another occasion. I left my muzzloading bag under a holly bush I rested under once and had to walk two miles back in the dark through wood land only to have my dog chase a badger towards me and it ran over my feet! 1 Quote Link to post
Meece 1,957
On the left hand side on the cover of that magazine there is something about how you change from an o/u to a sbs.? Don't you just pick it up and shoot with it ? I'm always amused when people post on sites about " my sbs kicks like a mule or I can't shoot with two triggers, or the fact that if a gun isn't an o/u single trigger, multi choke with a minimum barrel length of 30+ inches it aint a proper gun. Still there's some really cheap quality guns out there because they aren't fashionable this week. As far as mistakes, I went pigeon decoying, got completely unloaded only no guns. ( I always take 2) . Load all the kit back up, open the gates, close the gates, drive back home, (not far ), Id left the guns on the freezer. Get back in the car, drive back to the field, undo the gates, unload the kit and then get out on the field. I still had a good day though. In total I probably lost an hour. Avoidable but not the end of the world. 2 Quote Link to post
