roller 0
I'm pretty new to air rifle shooting, i'd like a few views on this gun, I recently bought one for pest control, namely rabbits,.Now i'm not a small bloke by far, but i'm finding this gun a bit on the heavy side, and i'm getting much more barrel sway when aiming than I did when I was a kid with my old BSA meteor. Could this just be down to lack of recent shooting practice? I always thought I was a pretty good shot. Another question, what are the best times of day to hunt rabbits, dawn and dusk? Big bald beautiful 1,231
99's are as light as the bsa, brilliant guns with the best trigger out there. Quote Link to post
Coney 3
Retailing for around £180 this springer has been classed as " Every inch a winner " this new model is described as lightweight and extremely handy, the Hw99s gives you more performance for your money without cutting down on quality. ( but this is just a sales pitch ). Apparently the latest versions offer even better handling courtesy of an extended fore end and of course full power and supreme accuracy as all Weihrauchs do. If it's a lightweight hunting outfit you are after you may have to opt for a pre-charged rifle, as for the rabbit question I don't mind an early shoot or equally a late lamping session they both offer up our little furry friends. Hope this helps. Coney. Quote Link to post
SteveieP 0
A meteor weighs about 2.7 Kg, the 99s (& the 95K for that matter) weigh 3.2 Kg Be glad it's not a 97k at 4.2 Kg The fact that it feels heavier than a Meteor is because it is......that & you are now old & weak.
